Morgue Worker Arrested, Gives Birth To Dead Man’s Baby
A woman from Kansas City age 26, was arrested after giving birth to a dead man’s baby. Jennifer Burrows was revealed as the mother of a newborn child, after DNA test results proved she had necrophiliac intercourse with a man she was supposed to autopsy at work.
The entire thing turns one stomach but there are a number of people who quite literally sleep with the dead. Jennifer was working as an assistant pathologist at the Jackson County medical examiner services.
Charges were brought up against her, after she was found to have had sex with 60 other corpses at the morgue over the last several years. The males ranged between 17 and 71 years of age. Her psychotic behavior, led her to give birth to a baby boy back on January 7th of 2018.
The Kansas City Missouri Police Department, suspected the father of the child was a man who died in a car accident back in March of 2017. The police department released the following statements:
Police Chief Forté said, “We opened an investigation into this case in October after we were informed that the suspect may have been sexually abusing corpses.”
“We accumulated enough evidence over the last few months to obtain a warrant for a paternity test on her newborn son. It confirmed our suspicions, that the father of her child was, indeed, a 57-year old veterinarian from Texas who was driving through the county when he had a fatal car accident.”
“All the evidence that we have gathered suggests that he had never met Ms. Burrows before his demise and that he was already dead when the baby was conceived.”
Currently, there are no laws either at the state or federal level, that outlaw the practice of necrophilia, since the corpse is considered human remains and no longer actually living. Jennifer Burrows will be judged for indecent treatment of a corpse it seems. The technicality regarding this incident, remains legal within the State of Missouri. She will be judged for her mistreatment of a corpse.
Jennifer is now facing (in total) 158 different charges that include disorderly conduct, indecent treatment of a corpse and indecent exposure with illegal drugs. Jennifer Burrows was later interviewed and examined by various psychologists and other experts. They seemed to be divided regarding her legal case.
One of the professors who interviewed Jennifer is Isabella Ramirez from the University of Missouri, she believes that Jennifer was suffering from a type of psychosis and had, at least partially, lost any notion of reality.
Dr. Gerald Porter (associated with the Institute of Psychological Sciences) believes otherwise and said Jennifer is a compulsive necrophiliac. Porter believes that Jennifer, likely picked this profession so she could be around the deceased in the first place.
All the experts did agree on one thing and that is Jennifer is suffering from mental health problems. When she goes to court she will more than likely enter a plea of insanity. It is now up to the court to decide her fate.
